It is to be noted in this context , that while the Amaravati stupa revealed below its levels urn-burials , the site of Nagarjunakonda has shown the prevalence of the stupas with almost contemporaneous megalithic monuments . इस संदर्भ में यह बात ध्यान देने योग़्य है कि अमरावती स्तूप के नीचे से दफनाए गए लोगों के साक्ष्य मिले हैं किंतु नागार्जुनकोंडा के स्तूप में केवल एकाश्म स्मारक ही मिले हैं- यद्यपि ये पत्थर भी अमरावती के स्तूप के पत्थरों के समकालीन हैं .
